So Scott had his final check up with the doctor on his collarbone on Thursday. The dr. declared him with a 10% loss. I’m not really sure what that means to anyone except I know in some way it helps workman’s comp determine what kind of settlement he’ll get. I have no idea if we’re talking a couple hundred bucks or thousands of dollars. We have a family friend who I think had 15% loss with two collarbone injuries but she got 30K. If we get anything near that, I’ll be SO INCREDIBLY EXCITED. So I wanted to start making a list. I keep putting things on "the list" and never really writing it down. So here goes…
- Pay off the van
- Possibly buy Scott a truck
- New kitchen countertop
- Possibly new kitchen faucet,
maybe one of these delta faucets - New kitchen flooring
- Possibly new flooring in the living areas
- New lighting in the kitchen
- New lighting in the living room
- New chair in the living room
- Lamps for the bedroom
- New rug for the living room
- New bed for the girls
- Curtains for the kitchen
- Curtains for the living room
- Curtains for the sunroom
- Office Chair
- Art for living room
- Art for kitchen
- Water softener
- New stove
- Gymnastic lessons for girls
- Shopping spree for clothing for me
- Dress clothes for Scott
- iPhone
- The yard needs serious help
Um, yeah, so I’m hoping it leans toward thousands side…
*Update*
I just added that up with very random figures I estimated and came up with $27,245. No wonder I have "the list".
