I showed the girls’ new bedding since we switched everyone’s mattresses around here but this weekend we found a great dresser and bedside table for the room. We now have their clothes all combined in that dresser and just have their shoes in the playroom in Lexi’s old 5 drawer dresser. I’m hoping to get Scott to build a cubby hole shoe system to keep in the playroom or maybe in Emma’s closet if we can get that thing cleaned out enough.
Just a side note we rode to the furniture store THREE times this weekend..and it’s 45 minutes away. We went Friday night and picked it out, not taking a truck so we could all ride together. Saturday morning Scott went while I was at bible study to pick it up. When I got home and he got the bedside table out, it had glue stuff on it so we had to go BACK to exchange it. 4.5 hours of driving for these pieces. But it’s really looking like a little girls’ room now! Mom is going to make a dust ruffle and pillow shams and I’m going to get a print of their tea party and put it on the wall as well.

Furniture Factory Outlet out your way 🙂 Mom made the curtains…of course!

Of course! They are beautiful. We still need to call her at some point about some of the rooms in our house! Sad, 5 years after moving in, that we don’t have window coverings for every room yet …

Beautiful colors. Lovely room. Would the dresser have more room to open the drawers if the bed was the other way?

We would turn it that way but the bed and bedside table won’t fit that way. The drawers actually do have room to come all the way out even though it’s not the ideal setup.

Beautiful room… I love the curtains. That bed looks like it was made to jump on!
