Wow. That must have been terrifying! It reminded me of something David Platt said in the James series. There is no guarantee that we will lay our head down on our pillow alive each night. Events like your recent one really make that statement a reality. I’m so glad to hear your family was unharmed.

how scary! I suppose that’s why the earlier verse say for us to stop dabbling and get serious. people are dying (thankfully not in your situation but it could have happened) we must tell them about Jesus. We must reflect Jesus in our lives.
