If you’ve been following my site for the last year, you know I went gluten-free last February. In the last few months, I’ve been frequently sending a quick-start email to friends choosing the gluten-free lifestyle and realized it might be useful to others. I’ve turned that email into a Gluten-Free Food 101 guide here on the blog and made it available to everyone.
Share the page with friends going gluten free or even those that aren’t so they might know how to cook for their gluten-free guests. Please don’t share *this* post, but hop over to the guide and share the URL/picture from there. The guide is also available on my header so it’s easy to find.
Hope this helps!!

Panera has some options too, especially if you do their salads with no dressing. They also have some excellent breakfast options if you’re traveling – eggs and steak, egg white omelet etc.

Can you believe that I never go to Panera? I think I’ve been to the one in RH twice. I never was wowed enough for their price and the drive (I hardly ever go to RH anymore).

They are pricier but have more fresh food options. Here is a link where I discoverd how many options they have. http://glutenfreeworks.com/blog/2012/06/29/panera-bread-summer-2012-updated-information/#.UQgwth1ETao All of their nutrition info and ingredients are easily found on their website too which makes it easy if you’re in the store.

Are you eating gluten-free now?
dani says
I’m eating primal (hunted, gathered, grown) which basically eliminates anything processed and all grain/sugar. Basically whole foods – similar to paleo with the addition of dairy. I’ve found that many gluten-free recipes are primal or can easily be adapted.
