Quotes
Even when life is horrible–because it’s going to be sometimes. Everybody’s going to have different trials–it reminds us in the midst of that trial, we can rejoice in the Lord and we can have joy in God.
When you’re in that moment of every second feels like a million years, you just want to get rid of the pain, in any way possible.
I learned that we can still trust him. Yeah, it really sucks when he uses bad things in our lives to teach us good things, but we can still trust him and it’s remembering eternity, these trials will be gone and we’ll be with Jesus in heaven and that’s going to last for eternity. This life, even if it feels like pain dragging on for a millions years, some day it will be over and we will be in this beautiful place and it will be worth it. This is not our home.
Scripture
Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
Habakkuk 3:17
